I felt a deep contentment listening to the meadowlark's complex melody as he sat on his bragging post calling for a mate, and the soft canorous  whistle of the bobwhite as he whistled his name with intermittent lulls.

I am ready for spring, wait, ready for that lovely time between spring and summer when the breeze is slightly warm and the nights are nice and cool. We have been teased here with lovely 80 degree days followed by random snow or rain storms. What gives? I hope it isn't suddenly 95 degrees and we miss all the lovely sprummer (spring/summer mix). As an ode to sprummer and all things flip-flop, here is my
